He was very passionate and dedicated to his career in veterinary nutrition - one that spanned many years and, in which, he made numerous contributions and collaborations. His first love in life, though, was wife, Mariola, and their two beautiful daughters. One only needed to speak with Ignacio briefly to learn about his family. Ignacio was a genuine and kind person, and had friendships that spanned the globe. I think many that knew Ignacio would agree that to know Ignacio was to be his friend - he had charisma and a true and kind persona. I am honored to call him a close personal friend, and I will miss him deeply. My condolences go out to Mariola, his daughters, and all of Ignacio's family. May good memories help keep their hearts warm and filled with his love.
