Agudelo Vidal nació el 10 de noviembre de 1925 en Palmira (Valle). Estaba casado desde hace 45 años con Rosa Milena.

Hace dos días sufrió una caída que le causó una fractura de fémur por lo que fue recluido en la Clínica Rafael Uribe Uribe, de Palmira, donde se encontraba en cuidados intensivos dados sus antecedentes coronarios.

Sus restos serán trasladados esta tarde a Bogotá donde se le rendirá el último homenaje.
